Ruth 3:2-14
2NowH6258 then, is BoazH1162 not 1our relativeH4130, with whoseH834 youngH5291 womenH5291 you were? BeholdH2009, he is winnowingH2219 barleyH8184 at the threshingH1637 floorH1637 tonightH3915. 3WashH7364 yourself therefore, and anointH5480 yourself, and putH7760 on your best clothesH8071, and goH3381 downH3381 to the threshingH1637 floorH1637; but do not revealH3045 yourself to the manH376 untilH5704 he has finishedH3615 eatingH398 and drinkingH8354. 4And it shall be when he liesH7901 downH7901, that you shall 2takeH3045 noticeH3045 of the placeH4725 whereH834H8033 he liesH7901, and you shall goH935 and uncoverH1540 his feetH4772 and lieH7901 downH7901; then he will tellH5046 you whatH834 you should doH6213.” 5And she saidH559 to her, “3AllH3605 that you sayH559 I will doH6213.”
6So she wentH3381 downH3381 to the threshingH1637 floorH1637 and didH6213 according to allH3605 that her mother-in-lawH2545 had commandedH6680 her. 7When BoazH1162 had eatenH398 and drunkH8354 and 4his heartH3820 wasH3190 cheerfulH3190, he wentH935 to lieH7901 downH7901 at the endH7097 of the heapH6194 ofH6194 grainH6194; and she cameH935 secretlyH3909, and uncoveredH1540 his feetH4772 and layH7901 downH7901. 8And it happenedH1961 in the middleH2677 of the nightH3915 that the manH376 was startledH2729 and 5bentH3943 forwardH3943; and beholdH2009, a womanH802 was lyingH7901 at his feetH4772. 9So he saidH559, “WhoH4310 are you?” And she answeredH559, “I am RuthH7327 your slaveH519. Now spreadH6566 your garmentH3671 overH5921 your slaveH519, for you are a redeemerH1350.” 10Then he saidH559, “6May you be blessedH1288 of the LordH3068, my daughterH1323. You have shownH3190 your lastH314 kindnessH2617 to be betterH3190 thanH4480 the firstH7223, by not goingH1980 afterH310 youngH970 menH970, whetherH518 poorH1800 orH518 richH6223. 11So nowH6258, my daughterH1323, do not fearH3372. I will doH6213 for you whateverH3605H834 you sayH559, for allH3605 7my peopleH5971 in the cityH8179 knowH3045 that you are 8a womanH802 of excellenceH2428. 12But nowH6258, althoughH3588 it is trueH551 that I am a redeemerH1350, yet thereH3426 isH3426 alsoH1571 a redeemerH1350 moreH4480 closelyH7138 relatedH7138 thanH4480 I. 13RemainH3885 this nightH3915, and when morningH1242 comesH1961, 9ifH518 he will 10redeemH1350 you, goodH2896; let him redeemH1350 you. But ifH518 he does not wishH2654 to 11redeemH1350 you, then I will redeemH1350 you, 12as the LordH3068 livesH2416. LieH7901 downH7901 untilH5704 morningH1242.”
14So she layH7901 at his feetH4772 untilH5704 morningH1242, and gotH6965 upH6965 beforeH2962 oneH376 personH376 could recognizeH5234 anotherH7453; and he saidH559, “13Do not let it be knownH3045 that the womanH802 cameH935 to the threshingH1637 floorH1637.”
