Nahum 1:2-7
2A 1jealousH7072 and avengingH5358 GodH410 is the LordH3068; The LordH3068 is 2avengingH5358 and 3wrathfulH1167H2534. The LordH3068 takesH5358 4vengeanceH5358 on His adversariesH6862, And He reservesH5201 wrathH2534 for His enemiesH340.3The LordH3068 is 5slowH750 to angerH639 and greatH1419 in powerH3581, And the LordH3068 will byH5352 noH3808 meansH5352 leaveH5352 the guilty unpunishedH5352. In the 6galeH5492 and the stormH8183 is His wayH1870, And 7cloudsH6051 are the dustH80 beneath His feetH7272.4He 8rebukesH1605 the seaH3220 and driesH3001 it upH3001; He driesH2717 upH2717 allH3605 the riversH5104. 9BashanH1316 and CarmelH3760 witherH535, The blossomsH6525 of LebanonH3844 witherH535.5MountainsH2022 10quakeH7493 becauseH4480 of Him, And the hillsH1389 11comeH4127 apartH4127; Indeed the earthH776 is 12upheavedH5375 by His presenceH6440, The 13worldH8398 and allH3605 the inhabitantsH3427 in it.614WhoH4310 can standH5975 beforeH6440 His indignationH2195? WhoH4310 can endureH6965 the 15burningH2740 of His angerH639? His 16wrathH2534 gushesH5413 forthH5413 like fireH784, And the 17rocksH6697 are brokenH5422 upH5422 by Him.7The LordH3068 is 18goodH2896, A strongholdH4581 in the dayH3117 of troubleH6869, And 19He knowsH3045 those who takeH2620 refugeH2620 in Him.
