Haggai 1:4-9
4“Is it timeH6256 for you yourselvesH864 to liveH3427 in your paneledH5603 housesH1004 while thisH2088 houseH1004 remains 1desolateH2720?” 5NowH6258 then, the LordH3068 of armiesH6635 saysH559 thisH3541: “2ConsiderH7760H3824H5921 your waysH1870! 6You have 3sownH2232 muchH7235, only to 4harvestH935 littleH4592; you eatH398, but thereH369 isH369 notH369 enough to be satisfiedH7654; you drinkH8354, but thereH369 isH369 notH369 enough to becomeH7937 drunkH7937; you putH3847 onH3847 clothingH3847, but thereH369 isH369 notH369 enough for 5anyone to getH2552 warmH2552; and the one who earnsH7936, earnsH7936 wagesH7939 to put into a moneyH6872 bagH6872 fullH5344 ofH5344 holesH5344.”
7The LordH3068 of armiesH6635 saysH559 thisH3541: “6ConsiderH7760H3824H5921 your waysH1870! 8GoH5927 upH5927 to the 7mountainsH2022, bringH935 woodH6086, and 8rebuildH1129 the 9templeH1004, that I may be 10pleasedH7521 with it and be 11honoredH3513,” saysH559 the LordH3068. 9“12You 13startH6437 an ambitiousH7235 projectH7235, but beholdH2009, it comes to littleH4592; when you bringH935 it homeH1004, I 14blowH5301 it away. WhyH3282H4100?” declaresH5002 the LordH3068 of armiesH6635. “It is becauseH3282 of My houseH1004 whichH834 15remains desolateH2720, while eachH376 of you runsH7323 to his own houseH1004.
