Romans 7:8-12

8But sin, 1taking opportunity 2through the commandment, produced in me 3coveting of every kind; for 4apart 5from the Law sin is dead. 9I was once alive apart 6from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin became alive and I died; 10and this commandment, which was 78to result in life, proved 9to result in death for me; 11for sin, 10taking an opportunity 11through the commandment, 12deceived me and through it killed me. 1213So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
