Romans 2:23-29

23You who 1boast 2in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God? 24For “3the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles 4because of you,” just as it is written.

25For indeed circumcision is of value if you 5practice 6the Law; but if you are a transgressor 7of the Law, 8your circumcision has become uncircumcision. 269So if 10the 11uncircumcised man 12keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision? 27And 13he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not 14judge you who 15though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor 16of the Law? 28For 17he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29But 18he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and 19circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the 20Spirit, not by the letter; 21and his praise is not from men, but from God.
