Romans 2:21-29
21you, therefore, 1who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who 2preach that one shall not steal, do you steal? 22You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you 3rob temples? 23You who 4boast 5in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God? 24For “6the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles 7because of you,” just as it is written.
25For indeed circumcision is of value if you 8practice 9the Law; but if you are a transgressor 10of the Law, 11your circumcision has become uncircumcision. 2612So if 13the 14uncircumcised man 15keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision? 27And 16he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not 17judge you who 18though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor 19of the Law? 28For 20he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29But 21he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and 22circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the 23Spirit, not by the letter; 24and his praise is not from men, but from God.
