22For I was ashamedבֹ֗שְׁתִּיVo.she.tiH954to requestלִשְׁא֤וֹלlish.'olH7592from the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428troopsחַ֣יִלCha.yilH2428and horsemenוּפָרָשִׁ֔יםu.fa.ra.ShimH6571toprotectלְעָזְרֵ֥נוּle.'a.ze.Re.nuH5826us from the enemyH340on the wayבַּדָּ֑רֶךְba.Da.rekhH1870,becauseH3588we had saidH559to the kingלַמֶּ֜לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428, “The handיַד־yad-H3027of our Godאֱלֹהֵ֤ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430isfavorablyH2899disposedH2899to allכָּל־kol-H3605those who seekמְבַקְשָׁיו֙me.vak.ShavH1245Him, butHis powerוְעֻזּ֣וֹve.'u.ZoH5797and His angerוְאַפּ֔וֹve.'a.PoH639are againstH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605those whoforsakeעֹזְבָֽיו׃'o.ze.VavH5800Him.”

23So we fastedוַנָּצ֛וּמָהva.na.Tzu.mahH6684and soughtוַנְּבַקְשָׁ֥הva.ne.vak.ShahH1245our Godמֵאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּme.'e.lo.Hei.nuH430concerningעַל־'al-H5921thisH2088matter, and HelistenedH6279to our entreatyH6279.

28Then I saidוָאֹמְרָ֣הva.'o.me.RahH559to them, “You are holyקֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ko.deshH6944to the Lordלַיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068, and theutensilsוְהַכֵּלִ֖יםve.ha.ke.LimH3627are holyקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944;and the silverוְהַכֶּ֤סֶףve.ha.Ke.sefH3701and the goldוְהַזָּהָב֙ve.ha.za.HavH2091are a freewillנְדָבָ֔הne.da.VahH5071offeringH5071to the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of your fathersאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃'a.vo.tei.KhemH1.
