21Then I proclaimedוָאֶקְרָ֨אva.'ek.Ra'H7121a fastצוֹם֙tzOmH6685there, at the riverהַנָּהָ֣רha.na.HarH5104of Ahavaאַהֲוָ֔א'a.ha.Va'H163,that we might afflictלְהִתְעַנּ֖וֹתle.hit.'a.NotH6031ourselves beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440our Godאֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,to seekלְבַקֵּ֤שׁle.va.KeshH1245of him a rightיְשָׁרָ֔הye.sha.RahH3477wayדֶּ֣רֶךְDe.rekhH1870for us, and for our little onesוּלְטַפֵּ֖נוּu.le.ta.Pe.nuH2945,and for all our substanceרְכוּשֵֽׁנוּ׃re.khu.She.nuH7399.

22For I was ashamedבֹ֗שְׁתִּיVo.she.tiH954to requireלִשְׁא֤וֹלlish.'olH7592of the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428a band of soldiersחַ֣יִלCha.yilH2428and horsemenוּפָרָשִׁ֔יםu.fa.ra.ShimH6571to helpלְעָזְרֵ֥נוּle.'a.ze.Re.nuH5826us against the enemyמֵאוֹיֵ֖בme.'o.YevH341in the wayבַּדָּ֑רֶךְba.Da.rekhH1870:because we had spokenאָמַ֨רְנוּ'a.Mar.nuH559unto the kingלַמֶּ֜לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559,The handיַד־yad-H3027of our Godאֱלֹהֵ֤ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430isupon all them for goodלְטוֹבָ֔הle.to.VahH2896that seekמְבַקְשָׁיו֙me.vak.ShavH1245him; but his powerוְעֻזּ֣וֹve.'u.ZoH5797and his wrathוְאַפּ֔וֹve.'a.PoH639isagainst all them that forsakeעֹזְבָֽיו׃'o.ze.VavH5800him.

23So we fastedוַנָּצ֛וּמָהva.na.Tzu.mahH6684and besoughtוַנְּבַקְשָׁ֥הva.ne.vak.ShahH1245our Godמֵאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּme.'e.lo.Hei.nuH430for this: and he was intreatedוַיֵּעָתֵ֖רvai.ye.'a.TerH6279of us.

24Then I separatedוָאַבְדִּ֛ילָהva.'av.Di.lahH914twelveשְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֑רshe.Neim 'a.SarH6240 H8147of the chiefמִשָּׂרֵ֥יmi.sa.ReiH8269of the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548,Sherebiahלְשֵׁרֵֽבְיָ֣הle.she.re.ve.YahH8274,Hashabiahחֲשַׁבְיָ֔הcha.shav.YahH2811,and tenעֲשָׂרָֽה׃'a.sa.RahH6235of their brethrenמֵאֲחֵיהֶ֖םme.'a.chei.HemH251with them,

25And weighedוָאֶשְׁקֳלָ֣הva.'esh.ko.lahH8254unto them the silverהַכֶּ֥סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701,and the goldהַזָּהָ֖בha.za.HavH2091,and the vesselsהַכֵּלִ֑יםha.ke.LimH3627, eventhe offeringתְּרוּמַ֣תte.ru.MatH8641of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of our Godאֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,which the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428,and his counsellorsוְיֹעֲצָ֣יוve.yo.'a.TzavH3289,and his lordsוְשָׂרָ֔יוve.sa.RavH8269,and all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478therepresentהַנִּמְצָאִֽים׃ha.nim.tza.'ImH4672,had offeredהַהֵרִ֙ימוּ֙ha.he.Ri.muH7311:

26I even weighedוָאֶשְׁקֲלָ֨הva.'esh.ka.LahH8254unto their handיָדָ֜םya.DamH3027sixשֵֽׁשׁ־shesh-H8337hundredמֵא֣וֹתme.'otH3967and fiftyוַחֲמִשִּׁ֔יםva.cha.mi.ShimH2572talentsכִּכָּרִים֙ki.ka.RimH3603of silverכֶּ֗סֶףKe.sefH3701,and silverכֶ֥סֶףKhe.sefH3701vesselsוּכְלֵי־u.khe.lei-H3627an hundredמֵאָ֖הme.'AhH3967talentsלְכִכָּרִ֑יםle.khi.ka.RimH3603, andof goldזָהָ֖בza.HavH2091an hundredמֵאָ֥הme.'AhH3967talentsכִכָּֽר׃khi.KarH3603;

27Also twentyעֶשְׂרִ֔ים'es.RimH6242basonsוּכְפֹרֵ֤יu.khe.fo.ReiH3713of goldזָהָב֙za.HavH2091,of a thousandאָ֑לֶף'A.lefH505dramsלַאֲדַרְכֹנִ֖יםla.'a.dar.kho.NimH150;and twoשְׁנַ֔יִםshe.Na.yimH8147vesselsוּכְלֵ֨יu.khe.LeiH3627of fineמֻצְהָ֤ב טוֹבָה֙mutz.Hav to.VahH6668 H2896copperנְחֹ֜שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178,preciousH2532as goldכַּזָּהָֽב׃ka.za.HavH2091.

28And I saidוָאֹמְרָ֣הva.'o.me.RahH559unto them, Ye areholyקֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ko.deshH6944unto the Lordלַיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068;the vesselsוְהַכֵּלִ֖יםve.ha.ke.LimH3627areholyקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944also; and the silverוְהַכֶּ֤סֶףve.ha.Ke.sefH3701and the goldוְהַזָּהָב֙ve.ha.za.HavH2091area freewill offeringנְדָבָ֔הne.da.VahH5071unto the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of your fathersאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃'a.vo.tei.KhemH1.
