5So I willsendוְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּיve.shi.Lach.tiH7971fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784upon Judahבִּֽיהוּדָ֑הbi.hu.DahH3063And it will consumeוְאָכְלָ֖הve.'a.khe.LahH398the citadelsאַרְמְנ֥וֹת'ar.me.NotH759of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ פye.ru.sha.LimH3389.”

8On garmentsבְּגָדִ֤יםbe.ga.DimH899takenH2254as pledgesחֲבֻלִים֙cha.vu.LimH2254they stretchיַטּ֔וּya.TuH5186out besideאֵ֖צֶל'E.tzelH681everyכָּל־kol-H3605altarמִזְבֵּ֑חַmiz.Be.achH4196,And in the houseבֵּ֖יתbeitH1004of their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.HemH430theydrinkיִשְׁתּ֔וּyish.TuH8354the wineוְיֵ֤יןve.YeinH3196of those who have been finedעֲנוּשִׁים֙'a.nu.ShimH6064.

9“Yet it was I who destroyedהִשְׁמַ֤דְתִּיhish.Mad.tiH8045theAmoriteהָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ha.'e.mo.RiH567beforeמִפְּנֵיהֶ֔םmi.pe.nei.HemH4480 H6440them, Though hisheightכְּגֹ֤בַהּke.GoahH1363waslike the heightגָּבְה֔וֹga.ve.HoH1363of cedarsאֲרָזִים֙'a.ra.ZimH730And he wasstrongוְחָסֹ֥ןve.cha.SonH2634as the oaksכָּֽאַלּוֹנִ֑יםka.'a.lo.NimH437;I even destroyedוָאַשְׁמִ֤ידva.'ash.MidH8045hisfruitפִּרְיוֹ֙pir.YoH6529aboveמִמַּ֔עַלmi.Ma.'alH4480 H4605and his rootוְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יוve.sha.ra.ShavH8328belowמִתָּֽחַת׃mi.Ta.chatH4480 H8478.

10It was I whobroughtהֶעֱלֵ֥יתִיhe.'e.Lei.tiH5927you up from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,And I ledוָאוֹלֵ֨ךְva.'o.LekhH1980you in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּר֙ba.mid.BarH4057fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705yearsשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141That you might takeלָרֶ֖שֶׁתla.Re.shetH3423possessionH3423of the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of theAmoriteהָאֱמֹרִֽי׃ha.'e.mo.RiH567.

11Then Iraisedוָאָקִ֤יםva.'a.KimH6965up someH4480of your sonsמִבְּנֵיכֶם֙mi.be.nei.KhemH1121to be prophetsלִנְבִיאִ֔יםlin.vi.'ImH5030And someH4480of your youngוּמִבַּחוּרֵיכֶ֖םu.mi.ba.chu.rei.KhemH970menH970to beNaziritesלִנְזִרִ֑יםlin.zi.RimH5139.Is thisH2088not soהַאַ֥ףha.'AfH637,O sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478?”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

12“But you made the Naziritesהַנְּזִרִ֖יםha.ne.zi.RimH5139drinkוַתַּשְׁק֥וּva.tash.KuH8248wineיָ֑יִןYa.yinH3196,And you commandedצִוִּיתֶ֣םtzi.vi.TemH6680the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִים֙ha.ne.vi.'ImH5030sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘Youshall not prophesyתִּנָּבְאֽוּ׃ti.na.ve.'UH5012!’
