20Joabיוֹאָ֖בyo.'AvH3097repliedוַיַּ֥עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030, “Farחָלִ֤ילָהcha.Li.lahH2486be it, farחָלִ֙ילָה֙cha.Li.lahH2486be it from me that I should swallowאֲבַלַּ֖ע'a.va.La'H1104up or destroyאַשְׁחִֽית׃'ash.ChitH7843!

21Suchכֵ֣ןkhenH3651is not the caseהַדָּבָ֗רha.da.VarH1697.But a manאִישׁ֩'ishH376fromthe hillמֵהַ֨רme.HarH2022countryH2022of Ephraimאֶפְרַ֜יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669,Shebaשֶׁ֧בַעShe.va'H7652the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Bichriבִּכְרִ֣יbikh.RiH1075by nameשְׁמ֗וֹshe.MoH8034,has liftedנָשָׂ֤אna.Sa'H5375up his handיָדוֹ֙ya.DoH3027against Kingבַּמֶּ֣לֶךְba.Me.lekhH4428Davidבְּדָוִ֔דbe.da.VidH1732.Onlyלְבַדּ֔וֹle.va.DoH905handH5414him overH5414,and I will departוְאֵלְכָ֖הve.'e.le.KhahH1980from the cityהָעִ֑ירha.'IrH5892.”And the womanהָֽאִשָּׁה֙ha.'i.ShahH802saidוַתֹּ֤אמֶרva.To.merH559to Joabיוֹאָ֔בyo.'AvH3097, “Beholdהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009,his headרֹאשׁ֛וֹro.ShoH7218will be thrownמֻשְׁלָ֥ךְmush.LakhH7993to you overבְּעַ֥דbe.'AdH1157the wallהַחוֹמָֽה׃ha.cho.MahH2346.”

22Then the womanהָאִשָּׁ֨הha.'i.ShahH802wiselyבְּחָכְמָתָ֗הּbe.cha.khe.ma.TahH2451cameוַתָּבוֹא֩va.ta.Vo'H935to allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֜םha.'AmH5971.And they cutוַֽיִּכְרְת֞וּvai.yikh.re.TuH3772offH3772the headרֹ֨אשׁroshH7218of Shebaשֶׁ֤בַעShe.va'H7652the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Bichriבִּכְרִי֙bikh.RiH1075and threwוַיַּשְׁלִ֣כוּvai.yash.Li.khuH7993it to Joabיוֹאָ֔בyo.'AvH3097.
