6Then Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971to Joabיוֹאָ֔בyo.'AvH3097, saying, “Sendשְׁלַ֣חshe.LachH7971me Uriahאֽוּרִיָּ֖ה'u.ri.YahH223the Hittiteהַחִתִּ֑יha.chi.TiH2850.”So Joabיוֹאָ֛בyo.'AvH3097sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֥חvai.yish.LachH7971Uriahאֽוּרִיָּ֖ה'u.ri.YahH223to Davidדָּוִֽד׃da.VidH1732.

7When Uriahאוּרִיָּ֖ה'u.ri.YahH223cameוַיָּבֹ֥אvai.ya.Vo'H935to him,Davidדָּוִ֗דda.VidH1732askedוַיִּשְׁאַ֣לvai.yish.'AlH7592concerning the welfareH7965of Joabיוֹאָב֙yo.'AvH3097andthe peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971and the stateH7965of the warהַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ha.mil.cha.MahH4421.

8Then Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Uriahלְא֣וּרִיָּ֔הle.'U.ri.YahH223, “Goרֵ֥דredH3381downH3381to your houseלְבֵיתְךָ֖le.vei.te.KhaH1004, andwashוּרְחַ֣ץu.re.ChatzH7364your feetרַגְלֶ֑יךָrag.Lei.khaH7272.”And Uriahאֽוּרִיָּה֙'u.ri.YahH223wentוַיֵּצֵ֤אvai.ye.Tze'H3318out of the king’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004,and a presentמַשְׂאַ֥תmas.'AtH4864from the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428was sentוַתֵּצֵ֥אva.te.Tze'H3318out afterאַחֲרָ֖יו'a.cha.RavH310him.
