Matthew 9:21-38

21for she was saying 1to herself, “If I only 2touch His garment, I will 3get well.” 22But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Daughter, 4take courage; 5your faith has 6made you well.” 7At once the woman was 8made well.

23When Jesus came into the 9official’s house, and saw 10the flute-players and the crowd in noisy disorder, 24He said, “Leave; for the girl 11has not died, but is asleep.” And they began laughing at Him. 25But 12when the crowd had been sent out, He entered and 13took her by the hand, and the girl 14got up. 2615This news spread throughout all that land.

27As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, 16Son of David!” 28When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29Then He touched their eyes, saying, “17It shall be done to you 18according to your faith.” 30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus 19sternly warned them: “See that no one knows about this!” 31But they went out and 20spread the news about Him throughout all that land.

32As they were going out, 21a mute, 22demon-possessed man 23was brought to Him. 33After the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “24Nothing like this has 25ever been seen in Israel.” 34But the Pharisees were saying, “He 26casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.”

35Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, 27teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

3628Seeing the 29people, He felt compassion for them, 30because they were 31distressed and 32dispirited like sheep 33without a shepherd. 37Then He said to His disciples, “34The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
