Luke 20:39-44

39Some of the scribes answered and said, “Teacher, You have spoken well.” 40For 1they did not have courage to question Him any longer about anything.

412Then He said to them, “How is it that they say 3the Christ is 4David’s son? 42For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘5The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand,436Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’ 44Therefore David calls Him ‘Lord,’ and how is He his son?”
