John 3:27-35

27John answered and said, “1A man can receive nothing unless it 2has been given him from heaven. 28You yourselves 3are my witnesses that I said, ‘4I am not the 5Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent ahead of Him.’ 29He who has the bride is 6the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this 7joy of mine has been made full. 30He must increase, but I must decrease.

31“8He who comes from above is above all, 9he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. 10He who comes from heaven is above all. 32What He has seen and heard, of that He 11testifies; and 12no one receives His testimony. 33He who has received His testimony 13has set his seal to this, that God is true. 34For He whom God has 14sent speaks the words of God; 1516for He gives the Spirit without measure. 3517The Father loves the Son and 18has given all things into His hand.
