Job 27:1-10
1Then Job 1continued his 2discourse and said,2“As God lives, 3who has taken away my right, And the Almighty, 4who has embittered my soul,3For as long as 5life is in me, And the 67breath of God is in my nostrils,4My lips certainly will not speak unjustly, Nor will 8my tongue mutter deceit.5Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Till I die 9I will not put away my integrity from me.6I 10hold fast my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not reproach any of my days.
7“May my enemy be as the wicked And 11my opponent as the unjust.8For what is 12the hope of the godless 13when he is cut off, When God requires 14his 15life?9Will God 16hear his cry When 17distress comes upon him?10Will he take 18delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?
