Jeremiah 30:7-11
7Alas! for that 1day is great, There is 2none like it; And it is the time of Jacob’s 3distress, But he will be 4saved from it.
8‘It shall come about on that day,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘that I will 5break his yoke from off 6their neck and will tear off 7their 8bonds; and strangers will no longer 9make 10them their slaves. 9But they shall serve the Lord their God and 11David their king, whom I will raise up for them.1012Fear not, O Jacob My servant,’ declares the Lord, ‘And do not be dismayed, O Israel; For behold, I will save you 13from afar And your 14offspring from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return and will be 15quiet and at ease, And 16no one will make him afraid.11For 17I am with you,’ declares the Lord, ‘to save you; For I will 18destroy completely all the nations where I have scattered you, Only I will 19not destroy you completely. But I will 20chasten you justly And will by no means leave you unpunished.’
