Isaiah 56:8-12
8The Lord 1God, who 2gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares, “Yet 3others I will gather to 4them, to those already gathered.”
9All you 5beasts of the field, All you beasts in the forest, Come to eat.10His 6watchmen are 7blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, 8Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;11And the dogs are 910greedy, they 11are not satisfied. And they are shepherds who have 12no understanding; They have all 13turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, to the last one.12“Come,” they say, “let 14us get 15wine, and let us drink heavily of strong drink; And 16tomorrow will be like today, only more so.”
