Isaiah 54:7-10
7“1For a 2brief moment I forsook you, But with great compassion I will 3gather you.8In an 45outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, But with everlasting 6lovingkindness I will 7have compassion on you,” Says the Lord your 8Redeemer.
9“For 9this is like the days of Noah to Me, When I swore that the waters of Noah Would 10not 11flood the earth again; So I have sworn that I will 12not be angry with you Nor will I rebuke you.10For the 13mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My 14covenant of peace will not be shaken,” Says 15the Lord who has compassion on you.
