Isaiah 35:2-10

2It will 1blossom profusely And 2rejoice with rejoicing and shout of joy. The 3glory of Lebanon will be given to it, The majesty of 4Carmel and Sharon. They will see the 5glory of the Lord, The majesty of our God.36Encourage the 7exhausted, and strengthen the 8feeble.4Say to those with 9anxious heart, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with 10vengeance; The 11recompense of God will come, But He will 12save you.”5Then the 13eyes of the blind will be opened And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.6Then the 14lame will leap like a deer, And the 15tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the 16wilderness And streams in the 17Arabah.7The 18scorched land will become a pool And the thirsty ground 19springs of water; In the 20haunt of jackals, its resting place, Grass becomes reeds and rushes.821A highway will be there, 22a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of 23Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for him who walks that way, And 24fools will not wander on it.9No 25lion will be there, Nor will any vicious beast go up on it; 26These will not be found there. But 27the redeemed will walk there,10And 28the ransomed of the Lord will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, With everlasting joy upon their heads. They will 29find gladness and joy, And 30sorrow and sighing will flee away.
