Isaiah 28:16-18
16Therefore thus says the Lord 1God, “2Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested 3stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, 4firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be 5disturbed.17I will make 6justice the measuring line And righteousness the level; Then 7hail will sweep away the refuge of lies And the waters will overflow the secret place.18Your 8covenant with death will be 910canceled, And your pact with Sheol will not stand; When the 11overwhelming scourge passes through, Then you become its 12trampling place.
