Isaiah 10:8-12
8For it says, “Are not my princes 1all kings?9Is not 2Calno like 3Carchemish, Or 4Hamath like Arpad, Or 5Samaria like 6Damascus?10As my hand has reached to the 7kingdoms of the idols, Whose graven images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,11Shall I not 8do to Jerusalem and her images Just as I have done to Samaria and 9her idols?”
12So it will be that when the Lord has completed all His 10work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, He will say, “I will 11punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and 12the pomp of 13his haughtiness.”
