Isaiah 10:7-11
7Yet it 1does not so intend, Nor does 2it plan so in its heart, But rather it is 3its purpose to destroy And to cut off 4many nations.8For it says, “Are not my princes 5all kings?9Is not 6Calno like 7Carchemish, Or 8Hamath like Arpad, Or 9Samaria like 10Damascus?10As my hand has reached to the 11kingdoms of the idols, Whose graven images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,11Shall I not 12do to Jerusalem and her images Just as I have done to Samaria and 13her idols?”
