Hebrews 9:7-12
7but into 1the second, only 2the high priest enters 3once a year, 4not without taking blood, which he 5offers for himself and for the 67sins of the people committed in ignorance. 88The Holy Spirit is signifying this, 9that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the 10outer tabernacle is still standing, 9which is a symbol for the present time. Accordingly 11both gifts and sacrifices are offered which 12cannot make the worshiper perfect in conscience, 10since they relate only to 13food and 14drink and various 15washings, 16regulations for the 17body imposed until 18a time of reformation.
11But when Christ appeared as a 19high priest of the 20good things 21to come, He entered through 22the greater and more perfect 23tabernacle, 24not made with hands, that is to say, 25not of this creation; 12and not through 26the blood of goats and calves, but 27through His own blood, He 28entered the holy place 29once for all, 30having obtained 31eternal redemption.
