Hebrews 9:13-15

13For if 1the blood of goats and bulls and 2the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the 3cleansing of the flesh, 14how much more will 4the blood of Christ, who through 56the eternal Spirit 7offered Himself without blemish to God, 8cleanse 9your conscience from 10dead works to serve 11the living God?

15For this reason 12He is the 13mediator of a 14new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been 15called may 16receive the promise of 17the eternal inheritance.
