Hebrews 13:1-17

1Let 1love of the brethren continue. 2Do not neglect to 2show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have 3entertained angels without knowing it. 34Remember 5the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body. 46Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; 7for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. 5Make sure that your character is 8free from the love of money, 9being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “10I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” 6so that we confidently say, “11The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”

7Remember 12those who led you, who spoke 13the word of God to you; and considering the 14result of their conduct, 15imitate their faith. 816Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 917Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to 18be strengthened by grace, not by 19foods, 20through which those who 21were so occupied were not benefited. 10We have an altar 22from which those 23who serve the 24tabernacle have no right to eat. 11For 25the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12Therefore Jesus also, 26that He might sanctify the people 27through His own blood, suffered 28outside the gate. 13So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, 29bearing His reproach. 14For here 30we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking 31the city which is to come. 1532Through Him then, let us continually offer up a 33sacrifice of praise to God, that is, 34the fruit of lips that 35give thanks to His name. 16And do not neglect doing good and 36sharing, for 37with such sacrifices God is pleased.

1738Obey your leaders and submit to them, for 39they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. 40Let them do this with joy and not 41with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
