Habakkuk 1:13-17
13Your eyes are too 1pure to 2approve evil, And You can not look on wickedness with favor. Why do You 3look with favor On those who deal 4treacherously? Why are You 5silent when the wicked 6swallow up Those more righteous than they?14Why have You made men like the fish of the sea, Like creeping things without a ruler over them?15The Chaldeans 7bring all of them up with a hook, 8Drag them away with their net, And gather them together in their fishing net. Therefore they rejoice and are glad.16Therefore they offer a sacrifice to their net And 9burn incense to their fishing net; Because through 10these things their 11catch is 12large, And their food is 13plentiful.17Will they therefore empty their 14net And continually 15slay nations without sparing?
