Exodus 32:31-34
Then Moses returned to the Lord, and said, “Alas, this people has 1committed a great sin, and they have made 2a 3god of gold for themselves.
But now, if You will, forgive their sin--and if not, please blot me out from Your 4book which You have written!”
The Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, 5I will blot him out of My book.
But go now, lead the people 6where I told you. Behold, 7My angel shall go before you; nevertheless 8in the day when I 9punish, 10I will 11punish them for their sin.”
