Exodus 23:18-33
18“1You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; 2nor is the fat of My 3feast to remain overnight until morning.
19“You shall bring 4the choice first fruits of your soil into the house of the Lord your God.
“5You are not to boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.
20“Behold, I am going to send 6an angel before you to guard you along the way and 7to bring you into the place which I have prepared. 21Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; 8do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since 9My name is in him. 22But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then 10I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. 2311For My angel will go before you and bring you in to the land of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will completely destroy them. 2412You shall not worship their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their deeds; 13but you shall utterly overthrow them and break their 14sacred pillars in pieces. 2515But you shall serve the Lord your God, 16and He will bless your bread and your water; and 17I will remove sickness from your midst. 26There shall be no one miscarrying or 18barren in your land; 19I will fulfill the number of your days. 27I will 20send My terror ahead of you, and 21throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will 22make all your enemies turn their backs to you. 28I will send 23hornets ahead of you so that they will 24drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites before you. 2925I will not drive them out before you in a single year, that the land may not become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. 30I will drive them out before you 26little by little, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land. 3127I will fix your boundary from the 28Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River Euphrates; 29for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you will 30drive them out before you. 3231You shall 32make no covenant with them 33or with their gods. 3334They shall not live in your land, because they will make you sin against Me; for if you serve their gods, 35it will surely be a snare to you.”
