New American Standard Bible 1995
Exodus 20:3-7
3“1You shall have no other 2gods 3before Me.
4“4You shall not make for yourself 5an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 56You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a 7jealous God, 8visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6but showing lovingkindness to 9thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7“10You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not 11leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
