Ephesians 2:8-13
8For 1by grace you have been saved 2through faith; and 3that not of yourselves, it is 4the gift of God; 95not as a result of works, so that 6no one may boast. 10For we are His workmanship, 7created in 8Christ Jesus for 9good works, which God 10prepared beforehand so that we would 11walk in them.
11Therefore remember that 12formerly 13you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “14Uncircumcision” by the so-called “15Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands-- 12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, 1617excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to 18the covenants of promise, having 19no hope and 20without God in the world. 13But now in 21Christ Jesus you who 22formerly were 23far off 24have 25been brought near 2627by the blood of Christ.
