Thessalonians 3:6-10
Now we command you, brethren, 1in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you 23keep away from every brother who 4leads an 56unruly life and not according to 7the tradition which 8you received from us.
For you yourselves know how you ought to 910follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined manner among you,
nor did we 11eat 12anyone’s bread 13without paying for it, but with 14labor and hardship we kept 15working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;
not because we do not have 16the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves 17as a model for you, so that you would 18follow our example.
For even 19when we were with you, we used to give you this order: 20if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.
