2 Corinthians 4:6-9
6For God, who said, “1Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has 2shone in our hearts to give the 3Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
7But we have this treasure in 4earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of 5the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 8we are 6afflicted in every way, but not 7crushed; 8perplexed, but not despairing; 99persecuted, but not 10forsaken; 11struck down, but not destroyed;
