2 Corinthians 12:7-10

7Because of the surpassing greatness of the 1revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a 2thorn in the flesh, a 3messenger of Satan to 4torment me--to keep me from exalting myself! 8Concerning this I implored the Lord 5three times that it might leave me. 9And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for 6power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather 7boast 8about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore 9I am well content with weaknesses, with 10insults, with 11distresses, with 12persecutions, with 13difficulties, 14for Christ’s sake; for 15when I am weak, then I am strong.
