2 Corinthians 12:17-21
171Certainly I have not taken advantage of you through any of those whom I have sent to you, have I? 18I 2urged 3Titus to go, and I sent 4the brother with him. Titus did not take any advantage of you, did he? Did we not 5conduct ourselves 6in the same 7spirit and walk 8in the same steps?
19All this time 9you have been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you. Actually, 10it is in the sight of God that we have been speaking in Christ; and 11all for your upbuilding, 12beloved. 20For I am afraid that perhaps 13when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there will be 14strife, jealousy, 15angry tempers, 16disputes, 17slanders, 18gossip, 19arrogance, 20disturbances; 21I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have 21sinned in the past and not repented of the 22impurity, 23immorality and sensuality which they have practiced.
