1 Timothy 6:5-10

5and constant friction between 1men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who 2suppose that 3godliness is a means of gain. 64But godliness actually is a means of 5great gain when accompanied by 6contentment. 7For 7we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. 8If we 8have food and covering, with these we shall be content. 99But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and 10a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10For 11the love of money is a root of all 12sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have 13wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
