New American Standard Bible 1995
1 Timothy 4:1-3
1But 1the Spirit explicitly says that 2in later times some will 3fall away from the faith, paying attention to 4deceitful spirits and 5doctrines of demons,
2by means of the hypocrisy of liars 6seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,
3men who 7forbid marriage and advocate 8abstaining from foods which 9God has created to be 10gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.
