1 Timothy 1:12-17

12I thank 1Christ Jesus our Lord, who has 2strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, 3putting me into service, 13even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a 4persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was 5shown mercy because 6I acted ignorantly in unbelief; 14and the 7grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the 8faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus. 15 9It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that 10Christ Jesus came into the world to 11save sinners, among whom 12I am foremost of all. 16Yet for this reason I 13found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might 14demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those 15who would believe in Him for eternal life. 17Now to the 16King 17eternal, 18immortal, 19invisible, the 20only God, 21be honor and glory 22forever and ever. Amen.
