1 Thessalonians 5:6-10

6so then let us not 1sleep as 23others do, but let us be alert and 45sober.

7For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get 6drunk at night.

8But since 7we are of the day, let us 8be 9sober, having put on the 10breastplate of 11faith and love, and as a 12helmet, the 13hope of salvation.

9For God has not destined us for 14wrath, but for 15obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

1016who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.
