1 Samuel 13:13-15

13Samuel said to Saul, “1You have acted foolishly; 2you have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you, for now the Lord would have established your kingdom 3over Israel 4forever. 14But 5now your kingdom shall not endure. 6The Lord has sought out for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has appointed him as ruler over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

15Then Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to 7Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul 8numbered the people who were present with him, 9about six hundred men.
