1 Peter 4:14-19

14If you are reviled 1 2for the name of Christ, 3you are blessed, 4because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

15Make sure that 5none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a 6 7troublesome meddler;

16but if anyone suffers as a 8Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to 9glorify God in this name.

17For it is time for judgment 10to begin 11with 12the household of God; and if it 13begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those 14who do not obey the 15gospel of God?

18 16And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, 17what will become of the 18godless man and the sinner?

19Therefore, those also who suffer according to 19the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.
