Peter 4:13-19

but to the degree that you 1share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the 2revelation of His glory 3you may rejoice with exultation.

If you are reviled 4 5for the name of Christ, 6you are blessed, 7because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

Make sure that 8none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a 9 10troublesome meddler;

but if anyone suffers as a 11Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to 12glorify God in this name.

For it is time for judgment 13to begin 14with 15the household of God; and if it 16begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those 17who do not obey the 18gospel of God?

19And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, 20what will become of the 21godless man and the sinner?

Therefore, those also who suffer according to 22the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.
