1 Peter 4:12-16

121Beloved, do not be surprised at the 2fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you;

13but to the degree that you 3share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the 4revelation of His glory 5you may rejoice with exultation.

14If you are reviled 67for the name of Christ, 8you are blessed, 9because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

15Make sure that 10none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a 1112troublesome meddler;

16but if anyone suffers as a 13Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to 14glorify God in this name.
