1 Peter 3:13-16

131Who is 2there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?

14But even if you should 3suffer for the sake of righteousness, 4you 5are blessed. 6And do not fear their 7intimidation, and do not be troubled,

15but 8sanctify 9Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready 10to make a 11defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the 12hope that is in you, yet 13with gentleness and 1415reverence;

1616and keep a 17good conscience so that in the thing in which 18you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.
