1 Peter 1:1-3
11Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who reside as 2aliens, 3scattered throughout 4Pontus, 5Galatia, 6Cappadocia, 7Asia, and 8Bithynia, 9who are chosen 2according to the 10foreknowledge of God the Father, 11by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, 12to 13obey Jesus Christ and be 14sprinkled with His blood: 15May grace and peace 16be yours in the fullest measure.
317Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who 18according to His great mercy 19has caused us to be born again to 20a living hope through the 21resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
