1 Corinthians 1:20-25

20 1Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of 2this age? Has not God 3made foolish the wisdom of 4the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God 5the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, 6God was well-pleased through the 7foolishness of the 8message preached to 9save those who believe. 22For indeed 10Jews ask for 11signs and Greeks search for wisdom; 23but we preach 12 13Christ crucified, 14to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles 15foolishness, 24but to those who are 16the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ 17the power of God and 18the wisdom of God. 25Because the 19foolishness of God is wiser than men, and 20the weakness of God is stronger than men.
