Isaiah 35:1-7

1The wildernessמִדְבָּ֖רmid.BarH4057and the solitary placeוְצִיָּ֑הve.tzi.YahH6723shall be gladיְשֻׂשׂ֥וּםye.su.SumH7797for them; and the desertעֲרָבָ֛ה'a.ra.VahH6160shall rejoiceוְתָגֵ֧לve.ta.GelH1523,and blossomוְתִפְרַ֖חve.tif.RachH6524as the roseכַּחֲבַצָּֽלֶת׃ka.cha.va.Tza.letH2261.

2It shall blossomפָּרֹ֨חַpa.Ro.achH6524abundantlyתִּפְרַ֜חtif.RachH6524,and rejoiceוְתָגֵ֗לve.ta.GelH1523even with joyגִּילַ֣תgi.LatH1525and singingH7444:the gloryכְּב֤וֹדke.VodH3519of Lebanonהַלְּבָנוֹן֙ha.le.va.nOnH3844shall be givenנִתַּן־ni.tan-H5414unto it, the excellencyהֲדַ֥רha.DarH1926of Carmelהַכַּרְמֶ֖לha.kar.MelH3760and Sharonוְהַשָּׁר֑וֹןve.ha.sha.RonH8289,they shall seeיִרְא֥וּyir.'UH7200the gloryכְבוֹד־khe.Vod-H3519of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, andthe excellencyהֲדַ֥רha.DarH1926of our Godאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ ס'e.lo.Hei.nuH430.

3Strengthenחַזְּק֖וּcha.ze.KuH2388ye the weakרָפ֑וֹתra.FotH7504handsיָדַ֣יִםya.Da.yimH3027,and confirmאַמֵּֽצוּ׃'a.Me.tzuH553the feebleכֹּשְׁל֖וֹתko.she.LotH3782kneesוּבִרְכַּ֥יִםu.vir.Ka.yimH1290.

4Sayאִמְרוּ֙'im.RuH559to them that areof a fearfulלְנִמְהֲרֵי־le.nim.ha.rei-H4116heartלֵ֔בLevH3820,Be strongחִזְק֖וּchiz.KuH2388,fearתִּירָ֑אוּti.Ra.'uH3372not: behold, your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙'e.lo.hei.KhemH430will comeיָב֔וֹאya.Vo'H935withvengeanceנָקָ֣םna.KamH5359, evenGodאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430witha recompenceגְּמ֣וּלge.MulH1576;he will comeיָב֖וֹאya.Vo'H935and saveוְיֹשַׁעֲכֶֽם׃ve.yo.sha.'a.KhemH3467you.

5Then the eyesעֵינֵ֣י'ei.NeiH5869of the blindעִוְרִ֑ים'iv.RimH5787shall be openedתִּפָּקַ֖חְנָהti.pa.Kach.nahH6491,and the earsוְאָזְנֵ֥יve.'a.ze.NeiH241of the deafחֵרְשִׁ֖יםche.re.ShimH2795shall be unstoppedתִּפָּתַֽחְנָה׃ti.pa.Tach.nahH6605.

6Then shall the lameפִּסֵּ֔חַpi.Se.achH6455manleapיְדַלֵּ֤גye.da.LegH1801as an hartכָּֽאַיָּל֙ka.'ai.YalH354,and the tongueלְשׁ֣וֹןle.ShonH3956of the dumbאִלֵּ֑ם'i.LemH483singוְתָרֹ֖ןve.ta.RonH7442:for in the wildernessבַמִּדְבָּר֙va.mid.BarH4057shall watersמַ֔יִםMa.yimH4325break outנִבְקְע֤וּniv.ke.'UH1234,and streamsוּנְחָלִ֖יםu.ne.cha.LimH5158in the desertבָּעֲרָבָֽה׃ba.'a.ra.VahH6160.

7And the parched groundהַשָּׁרָב֙ha.sha.RavH8273shall become a poolלַאֲגַ֔םla.'a.GamH98,and the thirsty landוְצִמָּא֖וֹןve.tzi.ma.'onH6774springsלְמַבּ֣וּעֵיle.ma.Bu.'eiH4002of waterמָ֑יִםMa.yimH4325:in the habitationבִּנְוֵ֤הbin.VehH5116of dragonsתַנִּים֙ta.NimH8577,where each layרִבְצָ֔הּriv.TzahH7258, shall begrassחָצִ֖ירcha.TzirH2682with reedsלְקָנֶ֥הle.ka.NehH7070and rushesוָגֹֽמֶא׃va.Go.me'H1573.
