Context of Galatians 3:28
26All of you are God's children because you believe in Christ Jesus. 27They baptized you as believers in Christ. That means that you have put on Christ, like someone who puts on new clothes. It does not matter whether you are a Jew or a Gentile. It does not matter whether you are a slave or a free person. It does not matter whether you are a man or a woman. You all belong together because you all belong to Christ Jesus. 29And if you belong to Christ, then you are descendants of Abraham. Because of that, you will receive all the good things that God promised to Abraham.

- Romans 1:16I am not ashamed to tell people the good news. God uses that good news to show his great power. He uses it to save all people who believe in Jesus Christ. First, God saves all Jews who are believers. And he also saves all Gentiles who are believers.
- Romans 2:9God will punish everyone who does bad things. He will do that first to the Jews, and he will do it also to the Gentiles. There will be much trouble and pain for every person who does bad things.
- Romans 3:29God is not God only for Jewish people. He is also God for the Gentiles. Yes! He is the God for all people.
- Romans 4:11Some time after that, God told Abraham that someone should circumcise him. That would be a mark on his body to show that God had accepted him. God had already accepted Abraham because Abraham believed in him. God did not accept Abraham because they had circumcised him as a Jewish man. This shows that Abraham is like a father to everyone that God has accepted. Like Abraham, God has accepted them because they have believed in him. It is not important that nobody has circumcised them.
- Romans 9:24We are those people! God has chosen us to be his people. It is not only Jews that he has chosen. He has also chosen Gentiles.
- Romans 10:12It says ‘everyone’. There is no difference between Jews and Gentiles. There is the same Lord for all of them. He helps everyone who asks him with many good things.
- 1 Corinthians 7:19It is not important whether someone has circumcised you or not. The important thing is this: Obey what God says.
- 1 Corinthians 12:13When they baptized us, we all became parts of one body. It was the one Spirit who brought us together. It made no difference whether we were Jews or Gentiles. It made no difference whether we were slaves or free people. God poured his one Spirit into all of us.
- Ephesians 3:5God did not tell this secret message to the people who lived before us. But now the Holy Spirit has shown it to God's apostles and prophets.
- Colossians 3:11People have this new nature only because they belong to Christ. That is the important thing. Jews are not different from Gentiles. It does not matter whether someone has circumcised you or not. It does not matter which country you come from or how clever you are. It does not matter whether you are a slave or a free person. Christ is all that matters. He lives in every believer.
- 1 Corinthians 7:14God accepts a husband who does not believe in Christ because of his Christian wife. And God accepts a wife who does not believe in Christ because of her Christian husband. If that was not true, the children would not belong to God. But God does accept them, because to him they are now clean.

- 1 Corinthians 12:12Each person has only one body, but that body has many parts. All those different parts make only one body. It is like that with Christ too.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek - ̔, Greek, is put here for , heathen. Under the Gospel all distinctions are done away, as either helping or hindering; all are equally welcome to Christ, and all have an equal need of him; all persons of all sects, and conditions, and sexes, who believe in him, become one family through him; they are one body, of which he is the head. - Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 26-29Verses 26-29 Real Christians enjoy great privileges under the gospel; and are no longer accounted servants, but sons; not now kept at such a distance, and under such restraints as the Jews were. Having accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and relying on him alone for justification and salvation, they become the sons of God. But no outward forms or profession can secure these blessings; for if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none…Read the comment
