Zechariah 12:2-6
2“BeholdH2009, IH595 will makeH7760 JerusalemH3389 a cupH5592 of drunkennessH7478 to allH3605 the surroundingH5439 peoplesH5971. JudahH3063 will beH1961 besiegedH4692, as well asH5921 JerusalemH3389.
On thatH1931 dayH3117, when allH3605 the nationsH1471 of the earthH776 gatherH622 against herH5921, I will makeH7760 JerusalemH3389 a heavyH4614 stoneH68 for allH3605 the peoplesH5971; allH3605 who would heave it awayH6006 will be severely injuredH8295.
4On thatH1931 dayH3117, declaresH5002 the LORDH3068, I will strikeH5221 everyH3605 horseH5483 with panicH8541, and every riderH7392 with madnessH7697. I will keep a watchfulH6491 eyeH5869 onH5921 the houseH1004 of JudahH3063, but I will strikeH5221 with blindnessH5788 allH3605 the horsesH5483 of the nationsH5971.
5Then the leadersH441 of JudahH3063 will sayH559 in their heartsH3820: ‘The peopleH3427 of JerusalemH3389 are my strengthH556, for the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635 is their GodH430.’
6On thatH1931 dayH3117 I will makeH7760 the clansH441 of JudahH3063 like a firepotH3595H784 in a woodpileH6086, like a flamingH784 torchH3940 among the sheavesH5995; they will consumeH398 allH3605 the peoplesH5971 around themH5439 onH5921 the rightH3225 and onH5921 the leftH8040, while the peopleH3427 of JerusalemH3389 remainH5750 secureH8478 there.
