The Vision of the Four Chariots
1And againH7725 I liftedH5375 up my eyesH5869 and sawH7200H2009 fourH702 chariotsH4818 coming outH3318 from betweenH996 twoH8147 mountainsH2022—mountainsH2022 of bronzeH5178. 2The firstH7223 chariotH4818 had redH122 horsesH5483, the secondH8145 blackH7838 horsesH5483, 3the thirdH7992 whiteH3836 horsesH5483, and the fourthH7243 dappledH1261 horsesH5483—all of them strongH554.
So I inquiredH559 ofH413 the angelH4397 who was speakingH1696 with me, “WhatH4100 are theseH428, my lordH113?”
5AndH6030 the angelH4397 toldH559 meH413, “TheseH428 are the fourH702 spiritsH73071 of heavenH8064, going forthH3318 from their stationH3320 beforeH5921 the LordH113 of allH3605 the earthH776. 6The oneH834 with the blackH7838 horsesH5483 is goingH3318 towardH413 the landH776 of the northH6828, the one with the whiteH3836 horses towardH413 the west,2 and the one with the dappledH1261 horses towardH413 the southH8486.”
7As the strongH554 horses went outH3318, they were eagerH1245 to goH1980 and patrolH1980 the earthH776; and the LORD saidH559, “GoH1980 and patrolH1980 the earthH776.” So they patrolledH1980 the earthH776.
8Then the LORD summonedH2199 meH854H1696 and saidH559, “BeholdH7200, those goingH3318H413 toH413 the landH776 of the northH6828 have given restH5117 to My SpiritH7307 in the landH776 of the northH6828.”
The Crown and the Temple
9The wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 also cameH1961 to meH413, sayingH559, 10“TakeH3947 an offering fromH854 the exilesH1473—from HeldaiH2469H854, TobijahH2900H854, and JedaiahH3048, whoH834 have arrivedH935 from BabylonH894—and goH935 that sameH1931 dayH3117 to the houseH1004 of JosiahH2977 sonH1121 of ZephaniahH6846. 11TakeH3947 silverH3701 and goldH2091, makeH6213 an ornate crownH5850, and setH7760 it on the headH7218 of the highH1419 priestH3548, JoshuaH3091 sonH1121 of JehozadakH3087.3
12And you are to tell himH559H413 that this is whatH3541H559 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635 saysH559: ‘Here isH2009 a manH376 whose nameH8034 is the BranchH6780, and He will branch outH6779 from His placeH8478 and buildH1129 the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068. 13Yes, HeH1931 will buildH1129 the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068; HeH1931 will be clothed inH5375 splendorH1935 and will sitH3427 onH5921 His throneH3678 and ruleH4910. And He will beH1961 a priestH3548 onH5921 His throneH3678,4 and there will beH1961 peacefulH7965 counselH6098 betweenH996 the twoH8147.’
14The crownH5850 will resideH1961 in the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068 as a memorialH2146 to HelemH2494,5 TobijahH2900, JedaiahH3048, and the graciousH25816 sonH1121 of ZephaniahH6846. 15Even those far awayH7350 will comeH935 and buildH1129 the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068, and you will knowH3045 thatH3588 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635 has sent MeH7971 to youH413. This will happenH1961 ifH518 you diligently obeyH8085 the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430.”
