Zechariah 12:1-4
1This is the burdenH4853 of the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 concerningH5921 IsraelH3478.
Thus declaresH5002 the LORDH3068, who stretches outH5186 the heavensH8064 and lays the foundationH3245 of the earthH776, who formsH3335 the spiritH7307 of manH120 within himH7130:
2“BeholdH2009, IH595 will makeH7760 JerusalemH3389 a cupH5592 of drunkennessH7478 to allH3605 the surroundingH5439 peoplesH5971. JudahH3063 will beH1961 besiegedH4692, as well asH5921 JerusalemH3389.
On thatH1931 dayH3117, when allH3605 the nationsH1471 of the earthH776 gatherH622 against herH5921, I will makeH7760 JerusalemH3389 a heavyH4614 stoneH68 for allH3605 the peoplesH5971; allH3605 who would heave it awayH6006 will be severely injuredH8295.
4On thatH1931 dayH3117, declaresH5002 the LORDH3068, I will strikeH5221 everyH3605 horseH5483 with panicH8541, and every riderH7392 with madnessH7697. I will keep a watchfulH6491 eyeH5869 onH5921 the houseH1004 of JudahH3063, but I will strikeH5221 with blindnessH5788 allH3605 the horsesH5483 of the nationsH5971.
